Front Desk Agent: Embassy Suites by Hilton Columbus-Dublin, January 2022 – Present

I work with my front desk team to ensure a smooth check-in and departure process while staying at the hotel. My responsibilities include fielding guest requests and assisting them where possible, resolving guest issues during their stay, and working within OnQ to ensure that reservations are set up correctly and further improve the guest’s stay.

Sales Intern: Embassy Suites by Hilton Columbus-Dublin, January 2024 – Present

I work with the sales team to ensure that group reservations are appropriately recorded and notated within the OnQ PMS system. I am also responsible for communicating with various group contacts to adjust their room blocks to ensure all their guests are accounted for and any special requests are completed. I also help with various revenue-impacting sales projects that help the hotel meet its quarterly budget.

I co-create and manage SEO-optimized written and visual content for various clients using GPT AI and other AI tools to help with production. I also use multiple platforms, like Google Console and Ahrefs, to monitor, report on, and improve client websites and content health.

I assisted Head Chef Wolf with preparing and conducting various events within the OSU Instructional Kitchen. My responsibilities included cleaning and prepping the necessary ingredients for the events, helping the attendees with their culinary questions, and cleaning and maintaining the various kitchenware and equipment.

Night Auditor: Marriott Columbus Northwest, August 2022 – December 2022

I used FSPMS and Excel to ensure that the hotel’s daily transactions were accurately recorded. I was also responsible for generating and filing various daily reports that upper management used for their duties and reporting. I’d patrol and ensure the property’s interior and exterior were adequately secured, and everything was as it should be.
